Day at Busch Gardens

Monday was the first day of Spring Break for Matt and the kids..Matt and I decided late last week that we would surprise the kids by taking them to Busch Gardens on Monday..So I took off work and off we went..Even though it was a little chilly we still had fun..Gracie rode her first roller coaster--The Elmo one and then she rode THe Big Bad Wolf! We were totally surprised, but she loved every minute of it..Brave she was! Here are a few pics from yesterday..Check out Matt's face on the Battering Ram!Too funny...

Easter Weekend

This weekend has been full of activities..GBWM kids had an easter egg hunt on Saturday..So much fun..even if it did rain..Church today was extra special as we celebrated our Risen Savior!!I'm so thankful for Jesus dying on the cross so that we could have forgiveness of our sins. This afternoon we ate lunch at mom and dad's house and then had another egg hunt for the kids and Mamaw had some eggs for them to color later...Lots of activity! Gracie's Night

Gracie will be turning 6 next Friday April 17th. (We won't be able to have her birthday party next weekend so we took her out this afternoon for "an early birthday"to see the Hannah Montana Movie..She loved the movie..and we thought it was pretty good too.. She wanted to go to the mall afterwards so we took her to eat at Chickfilet and then shopped alittle for her while we were there. It was all about Gracie tonight..Caleb was okay with that up until the end..He didn't understand why he couldn't get anything at the mall. We told him his time would be coming later..He finally got okay..Kids..Gotta love them..They are the greatest..Anyways, I'll be sharing some more about Gracie girl next week..Here are a few pics I took this evening..

Easter Time

It's almost Easter time!..Egg Hunts, Easter Candy, Easter Bunny...THE RESURRECTION of JESUS!

Jesus came to this world to die as a "subsitute for our sins". He gave his life so that we may have life more abuntantly..He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, he bore our sorrows, and by his stripes we are healed. I'm so thankful that God loved us so much that he gave his only Son to die upon the Cross so we could have forgiveness of our sins, and I'm even more thankful that HE IS ALIVE today! He is so wonderful and I love him so...I can't ever thank him enough for his many blessings in my life..He is good all the time! May you be blessed this Easter season!

Another Beautiful Day!

God blessed us again with another beautiful Day! ("This is the Day the Lord Has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it")

We had a great service at GBWM..."Embrace Your Brokenness" was the title of the message today..Very moving message for all...It spoke to my heart as I know it did many others.

The afternoon was filled with many activities from lunchtime, to baseball practice and choir practice. The kids even got to spend a little time at home this afternoon with their friends and visited the icecream truck again..

Beautiful Saturday!!

Today has been such a beautiful day! Love the sunshiny weather...Thank you Lord! Gracie has been out most of the morning playing with Peyton at his house..Caleb is gone fishing with Gampa! Matt "broke out"the lawnmower and finally cut our grass(it so needed it)..Gracie got to ride with her Daddy..after having a "meltdown"...THe icecream truck was also in the neighborhood today(as he is everyday)Gracie heard him coming so we had to go get her a "sourwower"popsicle..

I'm going to enjoy this beautiful weekend and thank my God for his wonderful blessings in my life!

Caleb's "Gift"

Today we gave Caleb his "gift" for getting Principal's List this past time..It's a couple of weeks late but at least he is getting it right? He would have gotten it the day before yesterday had he not done something he shouldn't have that day..We told him he would just have to wait until we said it was time..Anyways, Caleb's reward for making Principal's list is a "Nerf Gun"...(Gracie even was out in the yard playing with it today.)
