Okay..soo I take silly pics sometimes..We were goofing around and I thought I would get "up close" shots of the kids..So here they are..People tell me my kids resemble but I really think they do in these pics..The eyes and the nose for sure!

The Real Thing

So a few weeks ago Gracie made her own slip and slide...she got a "A REAL one on Monday of this week...She played all afternoon on the slip and slide and in her little pool that we filled with water on the deck. She had fun..and her big brother and her cousins also joined in on the fun for a bit...

Our Weekend Fun!

Matt and the kids and I spent the weekend in Williamsburg doing lots of fun stuff. Went to Water Country on Saturday, Yorktown Sunday morning and Busch Gardens Sunday afternoon..The 2 days were jam packed but we had soo much fun. Here are some highlights of our weekend fun.

Friday Happenings

Today started a 3 day weekend for the Kidd Family..(Memorial Day Weekend-most everyone is off on Monday..so excited!)Got off early today and took Caleb to get his haircut...His dad informed me to make sure "it looks like he got it cut"..Well, I guess you can tell..just a little..The boy does not want his hair short..Don't understand why not..Can you tell??We spent our evening again at the Ballpark..Our team won this week..We really needed a win this week..Haven't been so lucky the past few. Anyways, looking forward to a weekend with my hubby and babies..So nice that we get to be together! Everyone have a great Memorial Day weekend!! God is Good!!

Saturday Fun

Well today I thought it was going to be me, Caleb and Gracie hangin out but it ended up being just me and Gracie..Caleb took off with Gampa to Chuckatuck today...Me and Gracie girl went to DQ for lunch and then did a little bit of shopping at Walmart..She wanted me to buy her a pool..(one of the expensive ones)but I told her not today..We came home and she got the idea of making her own "slip and slide"..creative I guess..We used 2 trash bags that she taped together..She was cute putting it together..Kind of funny because it starting ripping by the second time she slid on it..But she had fun so that's all that matters...She ended up just running through the yard with me spraying the water hose..After all that fun I walked with her in the neighborhood so she could ride her bike..SHe loves that now also! Here are a few pics from the water fun today...

Baseball, Baseball and more Baseball

Well it's Friday so that meant another baseball game for Caleb..Didn't know if we would get the game in tonight or not but we did..It sprinkled some and then rained just a little that we had to use our umbrellas for just a short period of time..Wasn't too bad though. Lou, Dawn and Jackson came out tonight for the game..So good to see little Jack Jack..Love those blue eyes and curls..Our team ended up losing tonight but they really tried hard. My Caleb got his 3rd home run of the season..So proud of him..Took lots of pictures tonight and wanted to post some of them. The picture at the end is of Gracie in the mud..Go figure!!

NO More Training Wheels!!

Today Gracie learned how to ride her bike without her training wheels! She was so EXCITED!! She wanted her Daddy to teach her last night but it had gotten too late so he promised her he would teach her today when he got home from work..It took a little while but she persisted and finally can ride on her own..She's getting so big..Loses her 1st tooth, now riding bike with no training wheels..What will she do next??I told her tonight she will now have to learn to swim on her own! I know she can do it!

Happy Mothers' Day

First of all I want to wish My Mother a Very Happy Mother's Day! I may not say it often enough but please know how very much I love and appreciate you. You have taught me so much over the years and I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me. You have instilled in me the things of God that I want to instill in my own Children. I pray I will succeed as you succeeded with me. You are a blessing and I love you very much!

Secondy, I want to say what a priveledge it is to be the mother to Caleb & Gracie. God has blessed us with two beautiful, precious children and I'm so grateful He chose me to be their mother..They are my life and I want the very best for them..My children gave me a beautiful necklace today which I'm posting here on the side. I love it!

Gracie Loses her 1st Tooth!

Gracie lost her 1st tooth on Friday..I thought it was coming out Thursday night but it waited until she got to school...I'm sure the nurse loved that! Gracie is always going to her for something..This time it was her tooth! She is a trip...She has been carrying her tooth around in a little box since yesterday..It's so tiny..Here is a picture of Gracie missing 1 tooth..So cute!

Weekend Happenings

Our weekend started out once again with Baseball...Love going to watch my boy play baseball..Love, Love, Love it!!

I took the kids to pick strawberries on Saturday morning..We have tons of strawberries and they are soo yummy! We've made milkshakes, strawberry shortcakes and even had some strawberries in our cereal...and we still have strawberries..i guess we'll be eating them all week...So good!

Today we went to church as we always do and had a great service. Love our church family..They are the best!

We ended our afternoon with another baseball game..And we won this one..by 1 point..It was a good game...I'm posting some pics I've taken over the past several days..Enjoy!

Beach Weather in April

This past Saturday Matt and I enjoyed an afternoon down at VA Beach..We still had gift cards to use at the restaurants down there so we took advantage of the beautiful weather while we were there. You would have thought it was the middle of July with all the people out on the beach..I think Matt and me were the "only one's" without our swimsuits on..Not really, but it seemed that way..I took just a few pics while we were there. I'm looking forward to the summer months and going back to the beach many more times...Next time in my bathing suit...
