Today's Activities

Well today was a typical Friday I guess. Went to work as usual and came home to get my kids off the bus..(I just love being able to do this)Cameron and Peyton got off at our house today..Gracie and Peyton played outside some (in the cold) and Cameron and Caleb played the WII..Matt and I went grocery shopping a little later..(Thanks sweetie for unloading and putting all the groceries away..-your a sweetheart!)Then it was off to Riverdale Elementary for some Carnival Fun! Let me tell you it was a "packed house". Kids were everywhere..there was dancing, games, moonbounce, cotton candy, face painting, pizza (which I got none of-they ran out)It was a nice family time for all who attended..Here are few pics from today..

I'm an Overcomer!!

As I ponder back over the last couple of years I pause and thank GOD for his Hand in my life. You see I used to struggle with fear on a daily basis(Take in context-USED TOO!)With God's help-I'm an Overcomer! We know that fear does not come from God;for perfect love casts out fear, right? It has taken alot of prayer and trusting in HIM to become an overcomer. Even though fear may want to come "knock at my door" from time to time, that's when I put on "My shield of Faith" and start claiming PEACE in my life. I believe God has allowed me to go through this to strengthen me and to draw me closer to HIM. I was reminded in a Dream I had this week that "even though we may go through the "fire" GOD is right there with us and HE will see us through. He is always with us. I Praise HIM for that!!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Okay..So I complained for nothing!! It's finally SNOWING!!And it's so pretty..I'm at work so I have to get up from my desk every few minutes to go check outside to see what it's doing..I just love to see the snow fall..So beautiful..Hope everyone enjoys the SNOWY Day! I sure will..

Where's the Snow???

I was so disappointed this morning when I woke up and there was no SNOW..We were under a winter warning since yesterday saying we could get up to 6 inches of snow..To say the least, I'm so upset..But I hear we still have a chance of getting some snow later today. The reason I'm so upset is that I wanted to stay home today with my kids..Okay..I'm whining I know..I can't help it..Anyways, I will just hope for a little snow before the end of the day..We shall see!!!!

It's all about Love!

So I've put up my Valentine Background!(A little early) Can't help it..Just love Valentine's Day..Maybe it's because I got married on Valentine's Day almost 11 years ago..It was a perfect day! Anyways, just wanted to share a little something about me and my kids. Whenever I tell them "I Love You" they will most of the time respond with "Love". This is our little thing that we do with each other..When they say "love" back to me that is their way of saying "I Love You"..Maybe it's silly but it's our way of telling each other how much we love one another. Wanted to share the following scripture on love..

Love
1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.

Sunday Wrap

Today's Service at GreatBridge West Ministries was awesome..from the praise and worship time, to..preaching..and then the altar time..GOD is so Good!I am in awe of the way HE is touching and changing peoples lives..If you don't have a home church we'd love for you to come and be apart of ours..We truly Love God and Love People....We currently meet on Sunday mornings at Hunterdale Elementary School at 10:30. BB Season

This morning was Caleb's first Basketball Game of the season at the YMCA. His team played a good game..only lost by 2 points!! That was disappointing but someone's got to lose, right?? Try telling that to the losing team..Anyways, wanted to post just a few pics of the game..My camera was not cooperating with me..Some pics were blurring..don't know what that is all about..I love going and watching my kids participate in sports or whatever they may be doing..I'm proud of my kids as we all should be of our own..Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday in whatever you may be doing today.

Count Your Blessings!

Today has been a very sad day for many in Southampton County. Riverdale Elememtary lost a precious child early this morning by a "freak"bus accident. My heart and prayers go out to the family of this little child. May God comfort them and give them peace during this most difficult time. We don't always understand why things like this happens..We just have to look to God for strength to get through them. It's days like today when I Thank MY GOD for his blessings and protection in our lives..All I wanted to do when I heard of this tragedy was to "Hold My Children"and just be with them. And I have done just that..They are a great blessing in me and Matt's life..And I Thank God for them Today and Always..Hug your children and love them..Each day is a Gift from God..

Please remember in prayer the Woodley family for the loss of their little boy..and pray for the staff and students of Riverdale Elementary

A Day at Home

Today I've been at home with my sweet girl Gracie who is sick with strep throat...Her daddy took her to the dr yesterday as she developed a high fever Sunday night and we weren't sure what was going on..She tested positive for strep and can't return to school until tomorrow..She has not really complained with her throat but has complained alot with her tummy hurting..She cried for about an hour this morning before falling back to sleep for about a 21/2 hour nap..She is awake now and watching TV. Seems to be doing better..I have had a relaxing day being at home taking care of her..She is a blessing to our lives..Well, I will sign off now and go relax on my couch with her..Until next time..

20/20/15

Tonight I started a new fitness class at the Y--20/20/15--"The Total Body Workout"..Me along with my friends Lisa and Erin and sis Natalie started our adventure in "getting fit". We had a blast..Don't get me wrong..it wasn't easy..I'm so out of shape it isn't funny..I thought I was going to have a "heart attack". I could hardly catch my breath..Now that is sad for such a young girl like me..HA. Anyways, I think we will enjoy our new class. Come and see what it's all about!

A followup to yesterday's blog--The Birthday Party turned out wonderful!!There were 45 friends and family at Joe's to help celebrate Matt's birthday and New Year's Eve..Matt was really suprised..Well kinda..We pulled into the parking lot and there was a "Happy Birthday Sign for him"..If that didn't give it away all the cars that were in the parking lot looked "very familiar" to him..He was like "What have ya'll done"..He was very touched that so many people came out to help celebrate with him..We love you all!!
