God's Handiwork

Today while I was out at lunch I looked up at the skies and saw how beautiful the skies were today..Gorgeous they were..God's handiwork is amazing..So I called Matt at home and told him to get my camera and snap some pictures...Here they are:

Fair Days...

Wednesday night Gracie and I ventured out to the County Fair..Mamaw went with us..Caleb didn't want to go so he stayed with Cameron..Matt was actually working at the ticket booth that night..He volunteered to help out a couple of nights and I think he actually enjoyed doing so..We watched the cloggers, ate a good BBQ sandwich and watched the queen's pageant(what we could see of it) and watched some of the talent show..(Gracie and I even watched some of the little circus they had over at the Midway Rides)It rained just a little bit but wasn't too bad..It was actually a nice night..Here are some pics.

Day at the OBX

Matt and the kids got to go to the OBX this week just for the day! Matt's mom and sister and family are down there this week so they went to join in on the fun for the day!(you guys get to see yourself in my blog..yay!!) They had a great time..Matt said the ocean was so calm it was like a lake. The cottage they were staying at had a swimming pool so the kids got to enjoy that too..Gracie thought it was neat that it had different lights in it at night time. They made a day of it and got home like 12:15 am on Wednesday morning..Wish I could have gone with them but I had to work instead..Here are a few pictures that Matt took.

Saturday Fun..

This past Saturday we took the kids to Water Country USA. We have only got to go a couple of times this year and the last time we went we had to leave early due to a storm that came through. We woke up Saturday morning to rain but ventured out anyway after looking at the weather. As we drove toward the ferry we could see blue skys..The day was perfect..We all had a great time..Caleb invited Jacob to come with him..They both enjoyed the day and rode just about every ride there..Here are some pics I took that day..(by the way it poured down rain as soon as we left the park..kind of strange..but it was all good)

"Give Me Jesus"

I have heard this song twice now in 2 days..."Give me Jesus"..

This song is so simplistic in words but says so much. "In the morning when I rise, GIVE ME JESUS, When I'm alone, GIVE ME JESUS, When I come to die, GIVE ME JESUS..I Love the words to this song..I dont want what the world has to offer, just give me JESUS..Enjoy.(You may have to turn off my music at the bottom)

OBX Vacation

I wanted to share just some of our pictures from our vacation this past week..I took soo many and tried to pick out some of my favorites to share..Mamaw Joyce and Cheryl, you will enjoy the Lighthouses when you go in a couple of weeks..I included a few of those for you to see..We had a nice and relaxing time while we were there..So hard to come home..Anyways, enjoy!
