Saturday Happenings

Well today the Kidd's had several things going on..Matt was in Chesapeake most of the day at KLC and me and the kids attended Braeden's birthday party at the YMCA Pool. They had lots of fun! Gracie even got in all by herself! Tonight we had Connect Group at our house..We ate pizza and fellowshiped ahile and then had our bible study. The lesson tonight was on Family Prayer...Here are a few pictures of the day....

Afternoon at Park

With the warm weather today I took the kids to the park to take some pictures..Every year I have been taking them to get their pictures in front of all the flowers..I guess it's a tradition I started...It's been such a beautiful day today..Can't wait for spring to get here...Almost!!Here are some of the pics I took today...Enjoy!

Feeling Better!!

After 10 days of being sick, Caleb is finally feeling better and there has been no fever for 24 hours..Praise the Lord!! He can return to school tomorrow...I think he is ready to go back...He is still coughing some but is so much better and I'm so thankful for that...We took the kids to eat mexican tonight being he was feeling better. Got a picture of him smiling...he looks like he's never been sick! Love you Caleb..

Snow Day

It's March 2nd and we finally got a little snow..Enough to keep the kids home from school but not quite enough to keep me home from work..I was not very happy about that most of the day but I quickly got over it!! Gracie woke up and said "It snowed Mommy"..She quickly got her clothes on and was out the door at 7:45 am..She didn't stay out too long though..The wind was terrible this morning! Caleb unfortuntely could not get out in the snow today..Still taking it easy..that fever just will not go away! Anyways, wanted to post the few pics that I was able to snap before heading off to work..Thanks Matt for getting out there and cleaning off my car..Your the greatest!

Sunday Wrap

Today I could not attend GBWM because I had to stay home with Caleb who "by the way is still sick"..He was diagnosed on Friday with Pneumonia..Poor guy has had a rough week..He is feeling better,if we could just get rid of that fever! I really missed being at church today..I heard it was a good service..Even though I could not be there I was praying for the service and all who would be there. I was able to attend dance practice for the kids this afternoon after Matt got home to stay with Caleb..who also missed practice being he is sick...We all took some pics of the kids today..They are doing wonderful and will be performing next Sunday morning for the church..I think they will do great..Gracie is not old enough to perform when they go to Jr. TAlent but she loves practicing with them and is also going to perform with them next week.

Mommy's Little Helper

Gracie loves to pretend that she is a waitress and takes our orders and loves to pretend baking and making things....She even helped Mommy in the kitchen last night when I was making dinner..SHe got right in there and wanted to do it herself..She is a JOY!

Our Week.....

Well, what can I say..It's been a really interesting week in our house..Caleb has been sick all week long..He started with a fever on Sunday night and has been sick since..He tested negative for the flu on Tuesday...but the fever has stayed with him..won't go away for some reason. All he has complained of is his throat, eyes and head hurting.. Last night was definitely not fun..Caleb coughed all night long..Poor guy! And to add to that..Gracie threw up at 12:30 am...Not so fun ...(I'm still washing stuff from last night)But at least she got sick only one time..She was fine this morning and was ready to go to school..This afternoon I called the dr. after I came home from work and he was still running fever. Gampa kept him today and said he coughed all day long..Imagine that! Dr. Ona ordered a chest xray and lab work and is calling him in an antibiotic..Finally!!We are Praying the xray comes back okay..Caleb is still hanging out on the couch as I type this, where he has been all week both..day and night..Hope you feel better soon sweet boy!...You got a lot of school work to makeup!!(Mommy does not look forward to that!!)
