Take Me out to the BallGame....

Tonight was Caleb's 3rd game of the season...the second one I've attended..Missed the first one last week..The Mustang team won to Waverly 7-5 and my Caleb got a home run..Was so proud of him! Love watching him play ball..Here are a few pics I took tonight.

Wedding Weekend

This past weekend we attended my cousin Ashley's wedding in Pulaski, VA. It is a 5 hour drive away so my mom, Natalie, Gracie, Peyton and I went up on Friday night and spent the night in Roanoke so we wouldn't have that long trip to do in one day..Matt and Caleb came on Saturday along with my dad. Thanks Mom for offering to do that. We weren't as tired I don't think. The day was a gorgeous day for a wedding..We enjoyed being there..I'm posting some pictures of the day.(Nana, I told you I would post them..you are in a few of them)..Enjoy!

Gifts for Gracie

With Gracie turning 6 on Friday and being out of town from Friday night thru Saturday night she got gifts all weekend long...She got a New Vera Bradley purse from her mommy and daddy, a "tech tote" from Mamaw and Gampa and a new lunch box from Travis, Lisa, Jacob and Madi all in the new color Bali Blue...She was thrilled when she received each of them...She also got her gifts from Nana and Papa and Aunt Glenda on SAturday at the wedding..She got a pretty new outfit and a HighSchool musical tee and playing cards..She really loved those too...She has been a good girl all weekend long even though she didn't have a birthday party...I really hated not to have one this weekend but sometimes you just do what you have to do..She still has presents to come so that's even more fun..I'm posting a few pics of Gracie girl opening up her gifts.

Gracie Turns 6

As I type this blog I'm thinking back to 6 years ago today I was just going into the hospital to have my precious baby girl. (we didn't know she was going to be a girl-she wouldn't cooperate when we had our ultrasound) I had my doctor appointment the afternoon of the 16th and was to return the following morning to be induced for labor..God had different plans..I started having some back cramps(little did I know that was back labor) that evening while I was sitting in Joe's Pizza right before church started at 7pm. I didn't really think anything of it and went about my business and ate and went on to church. I was having contractions as the night went on. I remember sitting in church and timing my contractions as they were getting closer. By the time church was over I was pretty uncomfortable..Matt took me home to get our stuff and drove me straight to the hospital. We got there a little before 10 that night and just a few hours later at 3:31 am Gracie Eden was born into this world. She has been a precious jewel to our home. I love everything about her. I couldn't have asked God for a more beautiful little girl than my sweet Gracie. Her outgoing personality just blows me away..She is so unlike me in that regard. I'm so glad of that. I pray God will use her for his Glory and that she will help make a difference in this world. Wanted to share just "a few" pictures of Gracie the last 6 years..HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACIE EDEN..I LOVE YOU.

Day at Busch Gardens

Monday was the first day of Spring Break for Matt and the kids..Matt and I decided late last week that we would surprise the kids by taking them to Busch Gardens on Monday..So I took off work and off we went..Even though it was a little chilly we still had fun..Gracie rode her first roller coaster--The Elmo one and then she rode THe Big Bad Wolf! We were totally surprised, but she loved every minute of it..Brave she was! Here are a few pics from yesterday..Check out Matt's face on the Battering Ram!Too funny...

Easter Weekend

This weekend has been full of activities..GBWM kids had an easter egg hunt on Saturday..So much fun..even if it did rain..Church today was extra special as we celebrated our Risen Savior!!I'm so thankful for Jesus dying on the cross so that we could have forgiveness of our sins. This afternoon we ate lunch at mom and dad's house and then had another egg hunt for the kids and Mamaw had some eggs for them to color later...Lots of activity! Gracie's Night

Gracie will be turning 6 next Friday April 17th. (We won't be able to have her birthday party next weekend so we took her out this afternoon for "an early birthday"to see the Hannah Montana Movie..She loved the movie..and we thought it was pretty good too.. She wanted to go to the mall afterwards so we took her to eat at Chickfilet and then shopped alittle for her while we were there. It was all about Gracie tonight..Caleb was okay with that up until the end..He didn't understand why he couldn't get anything at the mall. We told him his time would be coming later..He finally got okay..Kids..Gotta love them..They are the greatest..Anyways, I'll be sharing some more about Gracie girl next week..Here are a few pics I took this evening..
